The Emelin Theatre has established itself as one of the region’s most prestigious performing arts centers! The Emelin Theatre for the Performing Arts is an intimate performance space located in downtown Mamaroneck, NY. The Emelin Theatre’s mission is “to bring the best in professional performing arts programming to the widest possible audience in a way that will entertain, educate, and
invigorate the entire community”. The Emelin Theatre accomplishes it’s mission by presenting over 200 performances annually in the fields of children’s programming, bluegrass, cabaret, classical music, dance, film, speaker’s, and theatre for all ages. More than 40,000 patrons a year visit the theatre from Westchester County. Emelin Theatre patrons are sophisticated (35 - 75 years old),
upscale, educated (college degree or better) and have discretionary income. Over the past four decades a legion of talented artists have graced the Emelin stage. Headliners include Isaac Stern, Roberta Peters, Vassar Clements, Odetta, Tom Chapin, and Leo Kottke, Lucie Arnaz and Karen Akers.
